You fall through the clouds

Description

The background of the painting is a patchy rendition of a mountain range through the crowds. The top of the painting has the light blues of a clear sky, followed by the white mixed with light pink of the mountain range. The darkest part of the painting is also the lowest part of the ground. There are soft pink fluffy clouds in the middle of all of the, obscuring the ground.

The figure in the middle of the painting is a man falling down. He is bathed in dark blue, purple, red and orange, in order, starting from the head to the feet. He is falling down on his back, his feet up in the air. He seems to be wearing a shirt and sweatpants. One can almost feel the wind whipping through his head. The assumption can be that the man is falling from a plane, considering the height he is at.

The painting gives you a feeling of energy. The man is falling but doesn’t seem to be panicking, and seems to be enjoying the ride. One wonders what they are going to do to survive, as they don’t have a parachute.
